The embassy is a place that officially represents the country, protects its citizens, and conducts diplomatic activities. Therefore, as a design for the Korean embassy to be built in the new capital, the building should represent Korea’s identity, adapt well to the surrounding environment, and become a space for successful diplomatic activities. It's judged that Hanok, a traditional Korean house, can satisfy these conditions. By borrowing four elements of the Hanok's ratio, wooden structure, madang, and maru that contain Korean's philosophy and style, the embassy will be built as the first modern Hanok reinterpreted in a modern way in Nusantara.
