INCEPTION

Inception reimagines the theater as an accessible public space, challenging traditional exclusivity. It invites people to blur boundaries between audience and performer, fostering “people watching” and spontaneous, theatrical moments as visitors interact, gather, or dive from platforms. Architectural elements enhance the experience, with cladding that responds to tides and waves creating acoustic effects. Honoring Berry’s Bay’s heritage, the design includes a wharf to revive the fishing culture and a stage extending into the water. Rather than dominating the landscape, Inception subtly frames the harbor’s history, integrating nature into the experience and celebrating the site’s legacy.
