The Wharf to Remote Oasis

The project seeks to revitalise the historic Timber Wharf at Waverton Peninsula. By connecting its rich industrial past with a sustainable future, the project aims to transform the wharf into a dynamic cultural hub. The revitalisation not only preserves the heritage but also reimagines the wharf as a vital link between land and sea, to host a floating theatre instead of coal export ships. Emphasising exploration and reflection, the floating theatre navigates along Sydney Harbour, offering audiences an immersive experience and creating a meaningful destination that reflects the harbour's cultural and historical significance.
