The project includes an architectural film focused on a wall in Room 108 of the Wilkinson Building. It explores the dialectical tension between the utopian striving for an absolute representation of reality, as embodied by Richard Wagner's notion of “Gesamtkunstwerk”, and the disruptive “cinema of question” by Michael Haneke. Integrating digital renders, physical models, and real-life footage into a unified immersive experience, the film functions as a contemporary Gesamtkunstwerk. Yet, the uncanny emerges as each medium of representation enact an act of creation (poeisis), unveiling “fractured interiorities.”
