GreenLoop - Innovative Compost Bin

This project has won the Macquarie Group Award - Bachelor of Design (Interaction Design) at the Design Open Jury

GreenLoop is a communal compost bin designed for users in compact spaces or tiny apartments where traditional composting isn’t feasible. It lets users deposit food scraps, earn credits, and redeem them for seeds or compost generated by the bin. The product also features interactive and engaging infographics to educate people on correct food waste disposal. GreenLoop provides an alternative composting option for urban dwellers, educates people on sustainable food waste disposal, and demonstrates how waste can be turned into valuable resources.
