Memory Theatre

The Memory Theatre is designed to evoke personal and collective memories of Sydney’s harbor, merging the site’s layered history with immersive performance. The three stages, representing past, present, and future, draw from local landmarks: Balls Head for the past, Sydney Harbour Bridge for the present, and the Sydney CBD skyline for the future. Each stage offers distinct vantage points, inviting audiences to explore unique perspectives and cultural narratives. The performance unfolds across all three stages simultaneously, allowing audiences to move freely, interact with performers, and engage with the evolving memories, creating a fluid journey without a fixed beginning or end.
