The Glebe Island Bridge, dormant for 30 years, is reimagined as a dynamic theatre space fostering inclusivity. Its rotating function creates adaptable stages for both street and professional artists: when aligned, it offers open modular platforms for casual performances; when rotated, it forms a formal outdoor venue. Integrated architecture extends the bridge’s role by hosting performances, rehearsals, and public pathways. Sky bridges provide social spaces, fostering interaction between artists and audiences. This project transforms the bridge into a cultural hub, bridging diverse identities and backgrounds.
