The Colours of Water is a Civic and Education Centre for water advocacy located at Alexandra Canal in Sydney. The key takeaways from the site include the fact that Alexandra Canal is a largely forgotten part of water infrastructure in Sydney compared to Sydney Harbour. The main concept in response was to create a proposal which expressed our layered and multidimensional relationship with water. This is achieved by creating a landmark tower in the low site context that brings attention to the Alexandra Canal site and showcases our varied experiences with water throughout the tower.
