Set at Woodley’s Shipyard in Berry’s Bay, this theatre blends NSW’s maritime heritage with surrealism and intrigue. Inspired by the site’s industrial history, it features deceptive walkways inviting exploration before entering the performance space. Echoing the intention of maritime museums, the design adds a playful twist, creating a journey that blurs the lines between history, architecture, and theatre. This project revitalizes the shipyard, transforming it into a dynamic cultural hub that bridges the past and present while engaging visitors in an experience of curiosity and discovery.
