This thesis investigates sustainable water management at Cockatoo Island's Water Museum through the integration of ancient practices and technologies. It delves into the ways in which built environments can reawaken a sense of reverence for water by highlighting its significance in maintaining natural harmony and preserving cultural traditions. Combining spacescwith ancient traditions like aqueducts, cisterns, and, etc, it aims to decrease ecological impact while increasing visitor engagement through the utilisation of these elements. At its core, is an educational and interactive experience with the overarching goal of changing people's minds about water and inspiring them to take action to protect it.
