'Ultimately, architecture is really about well-being. I think that people want to feel good in a space, on the one hand it's about shelter, but it’s also about pleasure.' Sink & Float Dance Theatre is a re-imagining of the Sydney Harbour Drama House as a dynamic space where the stage, the dancers, the visitors, and the harbour all perform together. Set against the industrial and residential layered context of Jackson's Landing, the theatre aims to serve as a threshold between the huge-scale industrial elements and the human scale of the living neighbourhood.
