Theatre captures human experiences not just through the performance itself, but also through the processes of anticipation, arrival, departure and reflection. The architecture in which the theatre dwells plays a significant role in defining theatre, guiding the public through the journey. The project explores the harmony between simplicity and dramatic expression, architecturally challenges the existing typologies and materiality. The development of the concept led to an expressive and 'exposed' structure capturing the experiential elements of the site, highlighting the tension between the performers and the public, the suspension of architectural elements, and the expression of rhythm and repetition.
