Perspective drawing to convey the complete atmospheric experience of being submerged and then emerging again.

Greenwich Tower

Greenwich Tower reveals the landscape to the audience in a position of hierarchy that cannot be felt from sea or ground level. The repetition of circles echoes the shells of the silos which scatter the face of Gore Bay Terminal. The Perforated metal roof creates a continuous jagged topography, symbolising the fragmented and manmade landscape. At the top of the tower, the audience is confronted with the preserved nature and heavily excavated topography in one unity. The theatre and the tower combine to immerse the audience in the performance and surrounding site, through a journey of submerging and emerging again.
