Passage of entrance into the Theatre of Snapper Island

Snapper Island Theatre

Snapper Island is the smallest island of Sydney Cove and remains isolated and abandoned. “The Theatre of Snapper Island” is to exist in solidarity, outlooking towards its disconnection. The main theatre is grand and open, with a timber mast hoisting steel mesh sails that float above the audience, with a second intimate enclosed black box theatre. The Theatre on Snapper Island pulls together ideas of drama and site in order to produce a marker for the arts community and general public to come together and strengthen a vital aspect of life.
