Fragmented Harmony: Integrating old and new for Therapy

This project offers a new perspective that challenges traditional notions of the “form follows function” approach by reimagining existing buildings through fragmentation, deconstructivism, and phenomenology for adaptive reuse as a mental health care centre. It creates a dynamic and interconnected space for healing and reflection, providing a series of therapeutic experiences that facilitate a reconnection of patients, staff, and visitors to both existential and conceptual reality within a safe and engaging architectural framework.
