Halimeda’s Epilogue is a layered exploration of colonial history, natural tranquility, and theatre at Woodford Bay, blending storytelling with tectonic architecture. Initially hosting a café, gallery, and offices, it opens communal spaces that encourage engagement with the site’s past. Independent pavilions, connected through operable panels, embody flexibility and fragmentation. Later, concrete theatres are added, featuring timber cradles that erode over time, transitioning these spaces into public baths before eventually sinking into the ocean. This cyclical design journey mirrors the site’s evolving memory, transforming Halimeda’s Epilogue into a temporal landmark that ultimately integrates with nature.
