The Ethics Of Meat Production

"The Ethics of Meat Production – An Atrocity Experience" is a theatre project in Sydney Harbour designed to confront the hidden realities of contemporary meat production. By staging raw animal slaughter procedures from Australian abattoirs, the project sought to provoke reflection on the ethics of meat consumption and foster a more honest relationship with food. The aim was not to condemn meat production but to promote responsible practices. Architecture plays a critical role in creating spaces that challenge societal norms, raise awareness of controversial issues, and open debates on topics often concealed from the public.
