Obelisk Theatre

Obelisk is a monument to theatre, and the theatrical experience. It is an experimental theatre focused on creating an all-encompassing theatrical experience. In the modern day, theatre has lost gravity, a change caused by the business of modern life and the commercialisation of theatre. However, theatre holds meaning, weight, and its gravitas is diminished not only by current cultural attitudes but also by architecture unsympathetic to its artistry. Obelisk Theatre is dedicated to creating a space for theatrical appreciation, for actors and audiences.
