Ski Town Comparative Review

This comparative review assesses the merit of the different planning systems in Australia and Austria at a municipal level, specifically for ski towns in Thredbo / Perisher (Australia) and Innsbruck (Austria). Systems for plan-making, development assessment and planning appeals can vary in structure, and therefore outcome of development, though, there are many features common to spatial planning systems throughout the world.
