Running Water Theatre

Running Water Theatre located at Yurulbin Point emphasises interactions with water, a central element of the site. This project features three theatres designed to engage uniquely with their water surroundings including themes of Flood, Rain and Float whilst also reflecting and responding to the site’s rich history and natural elements. Yurulbin Point, formerly known as Longnose Point, translates to "Swift Running Water" and lies at the confluence of Snail Bay, Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour), and the Parramatta River. The construction and materials also reflect the site's maritime and industrial heritage.

Theatre 3 Visualisation (Float) offers an immersive, water-influenced experience with a movable platform that responds to audience weight and tidal patterns, with views towards Snail Bay.

Theater 1 Visualisation (Flood): The largest of the three, Theater 1 faces Sydney Harbour. Tidal shifts bring water e onto the stage itself, which then drains back into the bay.

Theater 2 (Rain) collects rain and tidal water through its roof, creating a water curtain around the stage. Diacaustic projections occur through a glass center
