The project aims to provide a meaningful sanctuary and therapeutic atmosphere for young people aged 12-25 who are suffering from mental health issues, which can help them to open up their hearts and get out of the difficult situations they are facing at the moment. The project takes the form of an ‘urban kingdom’, which is not only a physical space design but also a healing system strategy. It blends elements into a city-state. The project is also a positive response to the pejorative term of mental illness. We hope that through this de-stigmatizing approach, more people will be aware of the importance of mental health issues and reduce social prejudice against them.
