Circular time is tied closely to nature. Although it is winter, spring will come again, just as it once did. Everything has happened, and will happen again.
Ground [Meander] This ecological bridge contributes to a walkable city, prioritising the meander through a re-imagined forest with space for visitors to ground themselves with soil, blurring lines between environment and architecture.
Ground [Meander] [Walkable City] [Experiential Pillar Forest] This project has chosen to prioritise the experience of meandering rather than a single attention-grabbing facade, re-imagining the ironbark forest that once occupied this land.
Basement Lobby [Cave] [Collective Effervescence] The main entrance inspires solemnity as visitors venture down a narrow path. This opens abruptly into a foyer which amplifies voices, heightening the collective conscious.
One Library [Outlook] [Tree Hollow] The theme is the outlook from tree hollows on this formerly-ironbark-forest land. Platforms divide space while imitating the form of tree hollows, blurring borders.
Two Office [Outlook] [Tree Hollow] Inspired by the vantage point of tree hollows, three nooks reach out of the facade. A hole in the floor connects occupants to the transitional space below.
