Living Water, Living Knowledge

Situated on Gadigal Country at Maze Crescent, my project Living Water, Living Knowledge acknowledges the rich Indigenous History and culture laying on the site. By introducing an artificial waterway, my project aims to educate people of the Indigenous history and culture deeply intertwined in our community. It took reference to the nearby Gadigal Green, which was a Indigenous water source and the now hidden Blackwattle Creek, used by Aboriginal people for fresh water, fishing and other activities. Drawing inspiration from the way water diverges and converges, my project seeks to illuminate the interplay of division and connection within our community.
