Site Model: On the corner of Coombes Drive, we sit at the periphery of the North Penrith industrial precinct with warehouses to one side and detached housing on the other.
Ground Floor Plan: Recognising the new functional requirements of a museum, infill walls on the inside create a regulated, buffered zone to comfortably house people and objects.
Section: A new core, built on the boundary between former storage and factory space, provides lifts to move people and objects. The 18 meter void is preserved in the extension.
