Groundline
Groundline is conceived as an architecture of confluence, where water, land, and community interweave through a continuous spatial and ecological armature. Informed by the accumulated histories embedded within the site, the project advances essential interventions, allowing the ground’s inherent rhythms to remain legible. A bioswale operates as an organising spine, treating water as a shaping intelligence and a cultural thread that unifies movement, program, and landscape. By amplifying the site’s existing logics, the design cultivates conditions for learning, gathering, and reflection. Groundline proposes an adaptive, open-ended, and receptive framework, through which Country’s presence can be sensed, engaged, and continually reinterpreted.
